Take over your German number, and find out what the office thinks you owe.
A previous provider stopped, or nobody was ever filing, and the letters may have gone to an address you do not read. We lodge our power of attorney, read your tax account at the office and put the state of play in writing, with a fixed quote for whatever is outstanding.
From no picture to a written one.
A number, and no idea what the office has on file
Letters gone astray, a provider that stopped, periods that may or may not be open.
A written report and a price for the rest
Open periods, the real filing frequency, estimates, surcharges, the balance, and a fixed quote for whatever is outstanding.
Three things, and we can start.
Asked about takeovers
Yes. The power of attorney you sign lets us ask the office directly. The previous provider’s file helps (their own copies of what was filed), but the office’s account is the record that matters and we read that one.
The report says so, with the amounts and the dates, and the quote that comes with it prices the response: the objection or hearing reply, the missing returns, an application to reduce the surcharges where the facts support it. Nothing beyond the report starts until you accept that quote.
The takeover and the report stand on their own. If you then want the returns handled going forward, that is a filing plan; if you want them handled elsewhere, the report is still yours to hand over.
